Coach Spotlight: Dexter Braziel

Dexter Braziel, running back from Haltom, Texas, is receiving recruiting interest from SMU and Utah. Head coach Scott Hafley talked more of his playmaker.



"Last year Dexter ran for over 1,000 yards but shared carries with our other running back, so he could have had a lot more," says Hafley. "He had an outstanding junior season with 4.9 yards a carry, and this year has 4.5 yards a carry."

Braziel recently took a campus visit to SMU and is hoping to receive an official offer.

"I see Dexter as an outside linebacker in college," said Hafley. "He's got great hands, and plays fast at 215 (lbs.)."

Dexter Braziel is listed at 5-10, with a 4.52 time in the 40.
