The Utes will heavily recruit the state of California, but Los Angeles and San Diego will get as much attention as any two cities.

Just on the outskirts of San Diego is Vista, Calif. It has always produced Division I football talent and this year is no exception.

One of the top prospects in the San Diego area is linebacker Russell Allen.

When asked to describe his style of play Allen only had two words to say: "Incredibly intense."

Right now Allen has four offers – Arizona, San Diego State, Wyoming and Utah. Other prominent programs showing interest in Allen are UCLA, Oregon and Oregon State among others. He has yet to set up any official visits.

Allen is very good student with a self-reported 3.3 GPA and 1,100 SAT. Recommended Stories
