Pac 12 Power Rankings Week 5

More big movement in the Pac 12 power rankings following week 5
1.
Oregon
(5-0, 2-0)
4 first place votes
The Ducks weren't at their best, but put away
Washington State
in the second half. Now they get a top 25 ranked Washington team at home.
2.
USC
(3-1, 1-1)
USC had a bye and will now come to Salt Lake City for a showdown with
Utah
on Thursday.
3.
Oregon State
(3-0, 2-0)
The Beavers are officially for real. They went into Tucson and knocked off a solid
Arizona
team. That's 3 big wins to open the year. Now they'll come home and host Washington State.
4.
UCLA
(4-1, 1-1)
The Bruins bounced back after falling to Oregon State last week by trouncing
Colorado
. They'll now head to Cal, a place that has not been friendly over the years for UCLA.
5.
Arizona State
(4-1, 1-1)
So Arizona State is looking pretty good after going into Cal and taking down the Bears. A week off and then a Thursday nighter against Colorado should get them to 5 wins shortly.
6. Washington (3-1, 1-1)
Huskies came away with their biggest wins in years by knocking off top 10 ranked
Stanford
. They'll face their third top 10 team of the year at Oregon this weekend.
7. Stanford (3-1, 1-1)
The Cardinal dropped their first game of the season at Washington, and took a big drop in our rankings. They'll host Arizona this weekend.
8. Arizona (3-2, 0-2)
The Wildcats fought valiantly in a loss to Oregon State despite injuries and bad penalties. Getting to a bowl game is looking difficult, especially with a trip to Stanford coming up.
9. Utah (2-2, 0-1)
Utah enjoyed a week off and will host USC on Thursday night.
10. Cal (1-4, 0-2)
The Bears dropped one at home to Arizona State, and now it just looks like a matter of time before Jeff Tedford gets a pink slip. It could happen soon, and things aren't getting any easier with UCLA coming to Berkeley.
11. Colorado (1-4, 1-1)
Colorado got back to its losing ways by dropping one at home to UCLA. They'll enjoy the week off and then take on Arizona State next Thursday.
12. Washington State (2-3, 0-2)
Washington State hung tough with Oregon, but didn't have the firepower to keep up this week. They'll take on Oregon State this weekend.
