Riser- Deylan Jones – Fairfax- Only played in one game in AZ last year after moving from Texas but I like what I saw in passing league and he could quickly climb these charts with a solid early season performance.
Up and Comer- Bryce Perkins – Chandler- The sophomore hasn’t taken a varsity snap yet and likely will see limited playing time under center this year with Garretson looking good all off-season for the Wolves, but he already has been offered by UCLA and ASU and could be their next Brett Hundley.
Sleeper- I am going with two seniors that have seen limited playing time thus far in their career but looked poised for a breakout seasons. Hamilton’s Allen Thigpen and Notre Dame Prep’s Nick Duckworth are big kids with big arms.
Athletes at QB- Nick Brown, from Florence, Dalvin Richardson from Valley Vista and Tyler Williams from Ironwood Ridge are not prototypical QBs but are dangerous none-the-less. Expect them to pick up big yards on the ground and cause DCs fits.
