Arlandis Hinton knows all about playing with top flight players. In 2011, he was part of a deadly receiving duo that was headlined by teammate and 5-star Bryce Treggs. While Treggs got most of the attention in 2011, Hinton is looking to break out in 2012 and make a name for himself on the field and in the recruiting game.
"It's going kind of slow right now with my recruitment, but I've been in contact with a few coaches. Mostly from UCLA, Northwestern, Boston College, Michigan and Utah."
Hilton has big plans for the summer, spending a lot of it on the road attending as many camps as he can.
"I'm definitely going to go to Utah's camp and Colorado and all of the California camps."
The 5-11, 175 pound receiver has been learning more and more about Utah over the past couple of months and is excited about taking his visit and seeing the school.
"When I go to the Utah camp I want to visit the campus and see what they have to offer. I've been looking into their educational stuff and really like them. I hope they offer."
With a stellar academic high school resume, it's no surprise that Hinton is putting academics at the top of his list.
"Education is most important to me. I have a 4.3 GPA. I want to go out of state, but not that far. I also want a place with good coaches."
Despite the lack of an offer, his busy summer could yield one, giving Hinton the opportunity to commit before his senior year.
"I'll probably commit before my season starts if I have an offer so I can get it out of the way and not have to worry about the stress of it during my senior season."
